April 16                Ladies Luncheon – Hostess:  Pat OesterreichViscanti in Folsom – 20 ladies attended lunch – great service and food - always fun when the ladies get together


April 18                Buckhorn Dinner Run – Winters – Hosts:  Vicki & Tom Braithwaite – 30 people attended another great dinner at the Buckhorn – great time


April 19                Bowling in Pollock Pines (Knotty Pine Lanes) – Hosts:  Dan  Helena Christopherson – Fun event which started with run along Pleasant Valley and Jenkinson’s Lake - ending up at the Knotty Pine Lanes– prizes were awarded for best/worst bowler along with a couple of other honorable mentions.  After bowling group ended up at Sportsman’s for lunch!  Great turn out and lots of fun. 


May 1-3               Continental Tire Monterey Grand Prix, Laguna Seca – No official club hosts – Glenn Carlisle - 10 people joined group of 8 from River City Corvettes – got to see great races and meet Chevrolet’s chief engineer – John Reese won raffle for “hot lap” (which he said was a “pretty impressive run”)  Darrell Brunelli won pit pass.  Marty & Susan Keylon (and others) took the parade lap –Marty said Susan was a trooper and didn’t scream! 


May 10                Railtown 1897 State Historic Park in Jamestown – Hosts:  Glenn & Mary Lou Carlisle – 7 cars made the run to the museum.  Great tour – along with train ride ending up with lunch.  All Mother’s were given candy bars for Mother’s Day.

May 13                Birthday Dinner – Cattlemen’s – Hostess:  Patty McCoy – reservations for 33 – cocktails at 4:00 – dinner at 5:00


May 16                Abel’s Chevrolet 7th Annual Car Show in Rio Vista =- Host:  Eddie Pesce – Gates open at 9:00 – those interested in attending meeting at Starbuck’s in El Dorado Hills a 7:15


May 21                Ladies Luncheon, Los Pinos, Cameron Park – Hostess:  Pat Oesterreich


May 24                11th Annual Angels Camp Picnic – Hosts:  Bob & Mary Graham – BBQ Chicken sandwiches – 34 people have signed up to attend – deadline May 19th – don’t forget to bring $20.00 raffle prize (1 per couple) and side dish


May 25                Vettes for Vets - Sacramento – Host:  Jan Janca


May 30                Eagles Nest Show & Shine – Car & Aircraft Show in Ione – Host:  Eddie – need pre-register ($28.00) Eddie & John Cook are judges – check out

June 13               Reiff’s Annual Street Bash, Woodand – No Host at this time


June 20               Espanol Birthday Lunch, Sacramento – Hosts:  Patty McCoy – Jim & Dee Bryant


June 26-28`       Corvettes at Lake Tahoe - Hosts:  Ken Cleek and Kevin Hatten – First group leaving for Tahoe on Friday – second group leaving Saturday morning.  Check website for details. 


July 4                   Fourth of July Picnic – Gold Ridge – Hosts:  Jim and Judy Brady




July 6-12             WSCC 50th Anniversary Convention – Reno – Hosts:  Glenn & Mary Lou Carlisle – 8 people have signed up – leaving Tuesday returning Friday –

                             Planning tour of Naval Base on Wednesday


July 10                 2015 Corvette Weekend – Grants Pass, Oregon – Hosts:  John Reese and George Goolsby


July 18                 Cruzin’ the Broadway – El Dorado Hills – Host:  Ken Cleek – will make reservations for 15 (in order to have reserved parking)

Richard & Eileen Baughn attended Cool April Nights in Redding –said it’s a great run – similar to Hot August Nights in Reno – but not as crowed and even has lots more cars!  Should check it out for next year 


George had to have his mirrors painted at a cost of $383.00 -  ended up having to have mirrors replaced
